Selection of protective equipment for fitness

1. Gloves
The gloves used in training are roughly divided into half finger, full finger, wrist guard and no wrist guard. Half finger refers to exposed half finger gloves.
It is characterized by flexibility. Generally, gloves in training will thicken the palm, and the material of the palm will not be the same as that of other parts. It mainly plays an anti-skid role.
All finger gloves generally include palms and knuckles for better grasping, such as the shoulder shrug used by the trapezius muscle. Some bicycle gloves also have anti-skid effects, but they are not suitable for instrument training because they will wear quickly.
Different gloves adopt different anti-skid measures, but the purpose is the same to stabilize the relationship between the instrument and the palm.
There is a kind of palm guard similar to gum, which is arranged with "points" for exhalation. This kind is more suitable for general anti-skid, but it is not very suitable for frequent grasping and heavy weight in instrument training, because it will shorten the use time of gloves. Some are almost "disposable". After training, you will find that the gum "pimples" on the top have been smoothed.
Leather for palm protection is the best one, but the price is also relatively expensive.
2. Wrist guard
The wrist guard can be used alone to strengthen the wrist joint, because some people can choose to wear only the wrist guard without heavy grasping. At present, there are sleeve type wrist guards and winding type wrist guards on the market, and the latter is more suitable for protecting the wrist joint.
There is also a disposable wrist guard similar to plaster in foreign training.
There is another relationship between choosing wrist guards alone. Due to the difference in palm size, some people will affect their grip ability when using gloves, because the gloves themselves have a certain thickness, which affects their grip ability for people with small hands or different finger ratios. Therefore, such friends can choose a glove without winding and a wrist guard.
3. Knee pads
The knee is the most vulnerable part in sports.
The leg is also the most important place. The knee joint is located at the junction of upper and lower leg bones, with meniscus in the middle and patella in front.
The function of knee pad is to strengthen the knee joint, so that the patella is fixed in a relatively stable position during the flexion and extension of the knee, so as to avoid injury to the greatest extent.
There are mainly two kinds of knee pads used in fitness training, one is winding knee pad and the other is sleeve knee pad. The function principle of these two knee pads is the same, but the winding knee pad is better than sleeve knee pad, which mainly has the following characteristics:
(1) : if it's only a small weight training to strengthen the stability of joints, it's good to choose the sleeve type. If you're going to do some weight sprints, the winding type must be the first choice.
(2) : the sleeve type is easy to loosen after a long time and can not play a fixed role. The winding type is easier to use and can be adjusted according to different tightness.
Other important parts - some movements that need to maintain the sensitivity of the knee joint can adopt the sleeve type, which is more lightweight. If you run and warm up, you don't need to wear knee protection, unless the knee has certain injuries and needs to be reinforced, because if it is too tight, it is not conducive to the circulation of blood.
4. Belt
There are basically two kinds of traditional waist protection: protecting the lumbar spine and Baogu hip bone. The former is mainly used in bodybuilding training, that is, protecting the lumbar spine. I often see some novices wear squatting belts as trouser belts in the gym. In fact, this can't play a little protective role.
Generally, the belt is divided into leather and nylon, which have their own advantages.
Cortical belts are generally more expensive and the strongest. Before buying, ask about the height of the waist protection, your waist circumference and the size of your belt. If not, you can expand a few eyes. Cortical belts are generally reinforced with a layer of sponge at the back waist to fix the lumbar spine. The disadvantage is that they may feel a little hard when you start using them.
5. Shoulder protection
The role of shoulder protection is to reduce the load on the shoulder joint.
Athletes' shoulder pads are mostly used in fitness training, but the effect is not very ideal.
This is because the range of motion of the shoulder joint is the largest. Generally, shoulder protection is only a single reinforcement with little protection.
Therefore, for the shoulders, it is better to warm up and stretch, focusing on prevention.
